This year’s theme: Farmyard Animals

The 96th Scagglethorpe International Art Biennale brings together some of the most original and exciting artists at work today: Painter Richard Barnes (currently working in Barbados) brings his hugely popular (and sought after) explosions of colour. Peter Coates, the Brawby artist and stone carver, is showing new drawings and drawing assemblages. Tina Davy refocuses her lens to show new photographs and paintings and Colin Challen’s drawings explore the dangerous underworld of the farmyard. Catriona Stewart is showing new paintings and Simon Thackray is exhibiting a mix of old and new paintings, drawings and lino prints. Most of the work on show is for sale.

MEDIA PARTNER: Malton Myopic:
“We think what you think for you.”
